About

"I bet you think this story is about you."

GIRLS ON JANE is an unapologetically sexy, raw and downright hilarious window into the vibrant underworld of mid-2000s lesbian culture in Manhattan's West Village. So dust off your sexiest pair of motorcycle boots, pour yourself a tall glass of your chosen poison and step into a whole new world. A wild and wonderful world made up of lesbians and lipstick, dykes and Dr. Martens, queer babes and champagne, sex and salaciousness, heartbreak and hedonism, glamour and gay bars. Because regardless of your age or identity or where you're from — all are welcome on this beautiful and banged-up ride through the most glittery and gritty city of all: New York.

Follow the messy love lives, the harrowing heartbreaks, the one-night stands, the pain and most pressingly the beauty; of the fab & flawed women of Jane Street.  A glittery group of vastly different New Yorkers whose paths would never cross if it weren't for Dolly's, a watering hole of a lesbian bar that sits pretty on the coveted corner of Jane Street and West 4th in the West Village.

GIRLS ON JANE is a fictionalized audio drama and weekly column brought to you from the vivid & twisted imagination of critically acclaimed author + lesbian sex and dating writer, Zara Barrie. Tune in every week to keep up with the girls of Jane Street.
